Re: Clarksville, TN

Stayed at Clarksville RV Park, Exit 1, last week. We called ahead about 2 hrs prior to getting there to see if they had any sites. They had 1 site remaining which they held for us. There was some kind of group in for the weekend. We've stayed there before and it was never full any of the other times...

Re: Teflon Pin Box Disc

I wouldn't worry so much about the screws scarring the head. The screws will most likely be a lot softer steel than the head. I'd be more concerned about the screw heads getting worn down to where you would have a heck of time removing the screws when it came time to replace the disk. The suggestion...

I had the same problem after I hit a racoon that ran out in front of us. You could see where he bounced up against the sheet just behind the axle. I did a sure fix. Took a 1"X3" and cut it to fit between the frame rails inside the belly. Then calked it good using silicone caulk where the s...

While ours was in getting the heating element replaced we were also getting decals replaced that had cracked and were peeling. The decals were covered under warranty with no question altho they had been ordered about 1 month prior and it took the dealer several calls to FR to get the OK. Don't know ...

Warranty issue with FR

On 05/03/06 we purchased our Cardinal 30WBLE. At the time we also got the 1 yr extended warranty. On 04/26/07 (1 week shy of owning the Cardinal exactly 1 yr) the hot water electric heating element quit. I contacted my Cardinal dealer the next day. The dealer could not get me in for service until 05...

These work great. A bit pricey but if you watch they may go on sale. I got ours for $54 on sale.

Bought our 30WBLE a year ago. I didn't want to go longer because we often stay in state and federal parks and it can be tough sometimes getting in some of those places with the longer units. For just the 2 of us the 30WB works very well. We traded in our New Vision which I liked with its rear kitche...

For the prices they're asking for new trucks if I were a dealer to make the deal I'd toss in a hour's labor, 2 blocks, a pair of shocks, and some U bolts, and sell you the truck. Good luck.

The F-350 has 4" blocks over the rear axle which raises the bed the 4". Ford has a Tech Service Bulletin about replacing the 4" blocks with 2" just for pulling 5ers. It use to be a free, one time swap but I don't know if it's still no cost. Ford considers it a 3 hr job but any me...

I use a HPIII on my F-350 7.3 PSD. Very easy to program. Just follow the easy directions and can't go wrong. It walks you right thru it with notes on the screen. The HPIII didn't give a lot of bump up compared to other units on the market but it is very noticeable. The PSD now has the pickup from st...

Our 30WBLE had a hole in the door when it was still on the dealer's lot. Someone had opened it too far against the awning bracket. When we bought it the dealer replaced the door. Same thing when friends of ours bought their 29RKLE. He just got his home and was loading it for his first trip out when ...

I put mine on last spring. At the recommendation of a friend I drilled a small hole and put a pop rivet in each one to keep them secure. Friend said he lost a few over the years and after he started putting a pop rivet in them he has not lost a one.
They work great.

I'm pulling a 30WBLE with a F-350, 4X4, crew cab, long bed, 7.3L PSD, 3.73 axles and Hypertech III programmer. Don't even know the 5er is back there even before I installed the programmer. When sitting on flat gound, putting it in gear and not giving it any fuel, while at idle it will roll on as soo...
