Re: Houston, Texas
Jim & Ramona, you might want to look at Lake View Resort which is just southwest of the medical center. My daughter and her husband stayed there for a few days and found it to be very nice. They also have a shuttle to and from the medical center. Not real cheap but I doubt if you will find anyth...

Re: 285 NM 2/14
Drove thru Brazos Bend State Park today (near (Damon ,Texas) and saw three Cardinal 5ers. One was a park host and the other two were campers. This is the most cardinals I have come across at one time except at a rally.

Bird spotted in West Columbia Texas
Saw a bird parked at the corner of hwy 35 & 36, in the parking lot of a convenience store. It had Washington tags on the tv. I waived but by the time I could get turned around they had pulled out and headed east. Was this any of you?

Upon getting home I had the fluid changed. On the second trip, through Blueridge Mts. , it started getting pretty hot (approaching ...

underbelly sheetmetal coming off
Just got back from short weekend trip and while returning home our friends behind us noticed some insulation fall from underneath my bird. I stopped and found one strip of sheetmetal peeling back allowing the insulation to blow out. I noticed several screws either gone or coming out. Does anyone kno...

Leaking storage compartments
Well, I climbed into the storage compartment, shut the door, and had DW spray a water hose below and above the door. The water from above came into the compartment like the gasket was not even there. For some reason when my dealer installed this new door and frame two months ago, the door seemed to ...

Leaking storage compartments
Just returned from a short trip where we encountered a fairly heavy rain. Upon checking I found the drivers side storage door on my 06 30ft wble had been leaking and the bottom of the compartment was all wet. This happened several times before and I had my dealer put in a new door and frame. It seem...

Timbrens opinions
Just wanted some opinions on timbrens. I have previously noticed that JennyT and Scott have listed them on their posts. My tow vehicle is a 2003 Power Stroke pulling a 30wble.

I tried keeping the shore power on and cut off the battery and the lights and heater came on and did not surge although two times they would cut completely off and then come back on even though I had the heater thermostat high enough that it should not have cut off . I'm puzzled. Thanks Jerry 06 wbl...

converter problems?
Thanks for all the info. I cut off the shorepower and ran everything just off of the new battery and did not get any surges. Once the shore power is connected again I start getting surges, mainly noticeable when the unit heater is running. I have already pulled all of the fuses and tightened all con...

Sewage odor when showering
Just returned from camping trip and once again we experienced a strong sewage odor. This seems to occur when the grey water valve is open and we shower with the bathroom fan on ( to get rid of the heat and humidity). Surely the shower has a p-trap in the drain. Has anyone else had this problem. I kn...

First Trip Out- Shower Problems
Just returned from my first big trip(Colorado) in the bird. 5er did great except for the shower. The lift lever to engage the shower would not stay up. We finally put a clothes pin under it to hold it up. The water flow out of the shower wand did not put out much of a stream. I took out the inside p...
