The first time I winterized my camper as a brand new RV'r several years ago I followed the Forest River Owner's manual instructions step by step. Unfortunately the instructions do not tell you to remove your water filter element! That instruction is in the small Water Pur Filter booklet but not in F...

Quick Winterization Kit

O.K. I used the winterization kit and it worked fine. The only problem was that the outside shower leaked antifreeze when the water pump was running. I could not get the valves to completely shut off. I had never noticed water leaking from the hose when hooked to a water supply. I checked the valves...

Quick Winterizitation Kit

Has anyone had experience using the "Quick Winterization Kit". This is a siphon hose attached to the water punp. I assume you use it to draw antifreeze out of the jug. Does the antifreeze go into the fresh water tank then into the pipes or does it go directly to the pipes and faucets? I as...

KITCHEN DRAIN HOSE LEAK

We have a 2008 Cardinal 30TS which we bought in May of 2007 and have used a number of times. This past weekend we filled the kitchen sink and when we drained it we had a profound water leak. Had to take it back to the dealer for repair. The flexible drain hose from the kitchen sink had snapped off a...

Yes, we live in Russellville, Arkansas which is in the Arkansas river valley about half way between LIttle Rock and Fort Smith. We do plan to attend the Branson rally in October. We went to the one last year and had such a good time that we decided to do it again. The only problem is that attending ...

30TS

We ordered Birch with Tan trim. It was not easy to choose since many of the color schemes seemed very similar.

Table in 30TS

We have a 30TS on order and should take delivery in a few weeks. We are replacing a 29 LE. I would like to hear more about turning the table around to allow access to the refrigerator with the slides in. Do you fasten the table down after turning it around? If so, can more than two people sit at the...

Cardinal VS Cedarcreek

Has anyone done a careful comparison of the Cardinal vs Cedarcreek fifth wheels? A Cedarcreek dealer tried to convince me that the Cedarcreek is a better built rig than the Cardinal. I own a Cardinal 29LE and like it very much but am looking to upgrade to a Cardinal 30TS. Looking at the Forest River...
