Sorry it took so long for me to get back to you. It did have an explanation on the box, but I don't remember what it was. I know we enjoy being able to cook without it going off and still being protected. I tested it with match smoke and it works fine.

Ours kept going off every time we put something on the stove. Went to home depot and bought one specifically for kithens. The holes matched up making it easy to install and we no longer have a problem.

Being old, Italian, and not the sharpest knife in the drawer, I have a rather lengthy check list. I would be more than happy to share it with you, however I would have to send it snail mail or fax for the obvious reasons stated above. If you want to send me a PM with your mailing address or fax numb...

Thanks for the reply, you are probably right. I have been looking for this type of floorplan. I think they look great. Hope we hear from someone that has actually seen one.

New SB models

It's been a while since I visited the Cardinal web site and today when I went there I found that Cardinal hhas a new SB model. Can anyone tell me about this, are they top of the line or a lower priced version? The floor plans suggest top of the line.

Thanks

Congratulations on your new fiver. The one thing I would suggest is a change of tires if they are from China. Can save you a lot of greif down the road. I run Michelin xps ribs on mine.

Have a great time.

The new units I looked at at the Pleaseanton RV show had Loadstars. I believe they are also from China. Do yourself a favor and replace them with a better quality tire if they are indeed from China. I went to Michelin XPS ribs. Just my 2 cents. Congrats on the 34QS, one heck of trailer.

Don, can you tell me a little about the Cardinal rally? I've never been to one, but this one is close by.

Thanks

Fortunately we live in a mild climate where we can camp year round. We will be leaving for the central coast on Jan 2nd. We are country folk with lots of room so we keep our bird in a closed 22x40 garage with 50 amp power and heat.

Happy camping all.

Congratulations on your new coach. You will find that it's not that difficult to tow, just take your time and enjoy. All the BS you put up with will be forgotten the first time you park at a great spot and kick back. Happy camping.

We ordered it as an option when we ordered our bird. We think it's great. It looks good and the the trailer is quieter especially when it is raining.
