Re: Walmart Oil Change

Chief 409, my point being before I would take my truck to WALMART I would at least take it to someone that specializes in the work that I want done be it tires, oil changes or dealer work. As a Calif Hwy Patrol officer with 30 years of enforcement driving, I would not trust ANYBODY with my vehicle b...

Re: Walmart Oil Change

My question is "WHY WOULD ANYONE GO TO WALMART FOR AN OIL CHANGE". They are only good for PARKING IN THEIR LOTS or small house hold products like toothpaste. Take it to one of those many Lube and Oil places that specializes in oil changes. They start the vehicle and run it and check for le...

Propane Regulator

Jim: Just a thought, the Cardinal is the only trailer of all of the people I travel with that has "ONE WAY" valves in each hose coming from the regulator. They are small brass valves that look like common brass fittings. They are at the regulator end of each hose coming from the regulator....

I moved the full tank to the side that had been working and the regulator would not allow gas to flow. Jerked it out went to RV dealer in the area and h...

Dave, I just looked at your profile and right away I could tell what your problem was. Don't look now but there is what appears to be a 2 city block long attachment to the back of your truck. Got to be the problem.

Diesel Dave, I also have an 04.5 CTD and just had the Double Deep Mag HY Tech pan installed and an Autometer gauge. I went to the cost last week across 299 from Redding, CA to Eureka and back. The outside temp was in the mid 80's. The hottest my trans got was 210 on the return trip climbing a very l...

Filter Leaks

I just cut a gallon milk jug in half and it is flexable enough to tip it under the filter and leave it there. It will almost hold as much water as the filter will. Cheap also.

You should have "Pressed the Issue". I not only got the startup kit but the built in vaccum system, two slide toppers and a metal roll up cover for the awning, just to buy it from them.

Dawn Detergent (Liquid)

OK, I know this is not about RV"ing but since you are on the subject of Dawn Detergent, I have also found a unique use for this slippery stuff. I use it to SHAVE with every morning. A small amount rubbed into the stubble before applying shaving cream and the blade just slides the stubble away. ...
