Re: 2013 Chevy 3500 Dually
Good deal! Replacing the turbo is an expensive ordeal. I know my new truck will not be messed with. Any changes will be picked up by the ECM and cannot be erased. Well I got my truck back today. They tell me that what they think happen is that after the truck was made. It must have set on the lot f...

Re: 2013 Chevy 3500 Dually
Mac, Read through your owners and warranty manuals in the glove box, if you have them. Some have spaces to enter owner info and some original owners actually fill it in. Other misc. papers may be present. Put your Detective hat on. Is your dealer working with you or stalling you? the dealer has the...

Re: 2013 Chevy 3500 Dually
Were their lips moving when they told you that? George is right. Connecting to the computer reveals lots of secrets. If you have any paperwork of the previous owner, I'd call him. He might tell you what he knows since he is no longer on the hook. I've been known to call former owners. :ymdevil: I a...

Re: 2013 Chevy 3500 Dually
Well you did nothing wrong. Dealers are dealers, but I am sure with new of a truck they advertised it as a GM certified vehicle. The word chip is used to try to void certain things but that is their problem. Like George said they knew what the truck was all about when they checked it out. Power tra...

Re: 2013 Chevy 3500 Dually
Did you buy it from a GM dealer, or private owner ? I can tell you the dealers can tell everything thats has been done to the truck from the computer system, timing changes, transmission shift patterns, RPM's during driving loads, etc. Know days no one can hide chip use or bad driving practices ate...

Re: 2013 Chevy 3500 Dually
Problem turned out to be plug came loose so all was well after that. Yep, been there. Rob Well after I bought a 3850rl and found out that my 2500 was a little on the small side, and I needed to get a dually, but didn't have a lot of extra money laying around I started to look for a used dually. We f...

Re: towing with a 2500HD
jtaylor I feel you pain. Sandy says no as well. :(( I tried using the heated/cooled seats, its quieter than our present truck, "look an automatic so that you can drive" etc. I guess after 41 years of marriage Ive gotten rusty with my salesmanship skills. =)) I though I was going to have p...

Re: towing with a 2500HD
Very nice looking truck, you made a good decision to go with a DRW, the 3850RL is heavy and wants to push and pull the TV when loaded for a long trip on bad highways most all states have. Air Ride hitch or pin box works well on these heavy units. that is what I am hoping for. Got a 1300 mile trip p...

Re: towing with a 2500HD
That is one nice looking truck. I keep trying to talk Laurie into letting upgrade to a dually but all I get is a big NO. Oh, we'll some day I'll get there :d. I guess it worked. thank's for the help. I didn't want to up grade either, because I really liked my 2500. I hope this one is just as good, ...
