Re: HHO

I spoke to a diesel tech. at Worthington Ford today. He indicated ANY CHANGE in intake or exhaust system is an automatic void of Ford warranty.
This is stops any thoughts of trying HHO for me. Will have to live with 10mpg +/- :(

Do you have an oil cooler for the transmission oil? Rigs built with a towing package come with one added to system. I have a 06 ford psd with towing package and was able to pull out of death valley a month ago and keep temp at 200 deg. by not rushing, longest climb i've ever seen.

How to Use 4X4

I learned many years ago with Dad's WWll Jeep.
1. to get stuck in 2 wheek drive,
2. review the needs to continue or back out of the situation.
3. shift to 4 wheel drive and extract my self from current problem
4. shift back to 2 wheel drive and continue on a little wiser.

Advance reservations

We (GOD Willing) will be heading to Tucson area for a good part of winter. How scarce are sites in the area in Jan-March? Will be flying home for Holidays, so are reluctant to reserve for all the time we will be gone to insure a site. First time more than 200 miles away from home with the Red Bird. ...

AL-KO AG Axles To grease or not to grease

Do you grease the AG hubs with a grease gun or pull the hubs and repack the bearings? How often? Any problems?
Hate to spend $300 to repack if not necessary. Only used 1 season. Out twice, less than 1k miles. tks roger

MORRYDE OR TRAILAIR

I have the Trailair Pin box. Have observed that it reacts at startup and when stopping. Can tell if trailer brakes are fully stopping the trailer or just assisting by how the pin box reacts when I apply the brakes. Don't know that it takes out as much push/pull as the MORRYDE , but certainly seems (...

Towing With A F350

I have a '06 F350 4x4 w/18 inch single wheels. Rv is an '05 Cardinal 30WBLE. Use a Pullright hitch set to the lowest adjustment & Trailair pinbox. RV sets very nearly level with about 7.5" of clearance between bed and RV. I also added Trailair Center Point suspension, but believe it didn't ...

Gauges

From what I've read gauges are recommended for towing. So here comes the questions: 1. How do ISSPRO's compare to DIPRICOL's ? 2. Is a 90deg. swing gauge enough or do you recommend 270deg.? 3. How visable (i.e. easy to read ) are gauges mounted at the top of windshield? Don't want to give up the gra...

How My Trailer came Un-Hitched

Tks for the info. I have the same hitch. I did however add the "Bed saver" when I installed the Pull -Rite. I'am still wondering how a Right hand turn would pull the release. I have to make sure there is no pull on the hitch to release mine when parking. Will look for a new place to connec...
