Re: Fuel Milage
Rear Ends ?? Which is better you be the judge. Joe33060 has a 3.73 and I have a 4.10 on the exactly same truck, he averages 1.5 MPG (figured the old fashoned way) better than i get when go on the same trip and travel together. Now the (2) 2008 F450's we have at the Sheriffs Office to pull our boats ...

Re: New F350
Welcome to the club of LOW MILEers Love my F 350 and wouldn't trade it for anything else. Fuel mileage sucks, but i'm pulling my house. OOPS ? even without the house the MPG sucks. I've learned from past trucks i've had - This is ONE truck you dont want to MODIFY for any reason. Too many computer se...

Bumper
Rob
Your picture shows exactly what my bumper used to look like.
Exact same set up and almost the same bike carrier (2 adult bikes and 1 kids bike)
The bumper just peeled open where the welds attach the forward runners and rolled down from there.
I like rosey"s idea of a FRAME mounted receiver.

Rear Bumper
I have a 36-2 BH LE 2007 model and we are currently on a trip. During which I purchased a "Swagman" 2" receiver mount to attach a bike rack to the bumper. Instructions stated not to exceed 300 lbs. W/ 3 bikes and rack installed we took off north to VA. In NC I noticed that the rear bu...

Check your water pump fittings good they usually leak and when U tighten them on 1 end the other loosens up. The flusher valves leak behind the fascia. The door and pull out pantry come loose in travel and if full the weight will shatter the wooden door. The access panel beneath the garden tub - che...

JT's Strong Arm Stabilizers
Has anyone with a 36-2BHLE had these installed and can they provide info on any modifications required ?? Pictures if possible ? According to the install manual there are several locations in the center front and rear of the vehicle that provide anchor points for the brackets, that seem to be NOT th...

I just installed Firestone Air Bags on my F350 4x4 SD w/ Singlr rear wheels and thay are exceptional - I'm currently on a trip to S. Carolina and they made a difference in leveling the truck ( w/ only 25 lbs pressure in them ) Now I looking to resolve the front oto rear chucking. I looked @ the Mor ...

Did Y'all figure that out yet !!! Forrest River is consistiently consistent in their issues when it comes to these RV's. Mine, in the bedroom was marked satellite, but when checked was actually the CABLE. Wait til the water pump hose losens up and leaks, you'll laugh so hard trying to fix it (hint: ...

Your 250 will definately tow it but will not safely stop it. I have the same unit and pull it with a 350 SRW 4x4 and have no problem. Go ahead and add the airbags just to level the truck when hooked up. Forget the 4.10 rear though, if you had the E4OD tranny that would be ok but with the new tranny ...

50 amp cord storage
Sounds like ya'll need some sunshine and warmth to soften those cords up a little. When I got our new 36-2BHLE I just laid the cord out on the ground for 3 to 4 hrs in the HOT FLORIDA sun and it becomes very manageable, Like the guy said a milk crate works great. just load it right RV recepatcle it ...
