Re: 4 wheel drive-versus rear wheel drive
Every RV and truck forum has pages and pages devoted to the 2x4 vs 4x4. Its kind of like gas vs diesel. Its just a personal preference. Like WVCamper we had a couple of instances of getting stuck on wet grass or slightly damp ground so the last three TVs have been 4x4. I'm sure there are many like m...

Re: Diesel Forums
I agree with Rob. I have the new 6.7 Ford diesel with 9000 miles and the only thing that I have done is have the oil/filter changed. There are 1000s of satisfied customers with this same engine but if you read the forums they make you believe you can't even get it out of the garage? Those satisfied ...

Re: Ford 2012 F350 CC SWB SRW 6.7 PS Towing vs. DRW
Mabeer: I just thought of one other point I might call to your attention. When we get into the longer Cardinals most of the additional length is added to the rear of the axles. Also on my 34QS(39-40') they installed the fresh water tank at the very back where my previous 32CKT(36') was in the center...

Re: Ford 2012 F350 CC SWB SRW 6.7 PS Towing vs. DRW
Mabeer: I have the identical truck as yours except mine is a LWB. I assure you that you should be sleeping good as you have nothing to worry about. With that size unit and 7000 lb axles I'm sure it will come with "G" rated tires on 110 lb rims. I recommend you install a set of air bags, ho...

Re: New Hitch????
John: If you need a new hitch then getting the proper one to fit your under bed rails would probably be the way to go. However, for those of you that want to order the Ford under bed rails(which includes the 7-pin receptical in the bed) or have bought off the lot with this option, there is an altern...

Re: Question About Ford Exhaust Brake
Joel: I have a 2012 Ford F350 SWR Crew Cab LB with the new 6.7. I have not towed with it in the mountains but we have to cross the Eastern Kansas Flint Hill region to get to our country place. I have a 34 Quad Slide(39-40ft) with a GVW of 15,500 and double tow a 6x10 trailer with two Yamaha Grizzly ...

Re: New 2011 Ford F350 in the driveway
Well just had to get rid of the itch so I ordered a new 2012 Ford F350 Crew Cab XLT SRW LB 6.7 Diesel, white with steel interior this afternoon. I am trading my 2008 V10 F350, which has been a super truck and only has 33,000 miles, but I figured everyone should own at least one diesel in their lifet...

Re: New 2011 Ford F350 in the driveway
To Randy or anyone else with a 2011 Ford F350 4x4 w/SRW: Did your 2011 SRW come with 4" rear spring spacers vs the 2" that comes on a DRW? I have been getting the itch to order a 2012 6.7. I have a 2008 F350 Crew Cab 4x4 LB V10 with only 33,000 miles that has never been back to the dealer ...

Rickieh: I have a 2008 F350 SRW which would be identical to your TV but I have the V10 so if you have a diesel it might be different. When coming to a slow stop I can really tell the difference when in tow/haul mode as the converter stays locked up much longer and provides a lot of engine braking. I...

Both on our previous 32CKT and on our new 34QS to get to the by-pass valve you have to remove the square trim cover panel by prying off the screw covers and then removing four screws to get the panel off. My first project on the last trailer and on this one was to go to Lowe's and get matching cabin...

Bill: Wayne had some good ideas for what to check. I gather you are hooked to shore power? If not is does your battery have a good charge? The propane tanks have nothing to do with the furnace blower not running. If it was running and you were not getting any heat then you would starting checking yo...
