[quote]Yes Sharon can handle it, anyway she must have broke it since she was driving it.

Bruce,
You might want to stay gone for awhile after that comment. LOL. Sorry to hear about about your problem. Let us know how it gets resolved.

Sorry to hear about your frame problems with the Montana. I am not aware of any particular problems with the Cardinal frames, but that doesn't mean there haven't been any. I'm sure if they were an issue, we would be seeing a lot of discussion about it on this forum. One thing you need to keep in min...

Mine had 85's on it from the factory, so I have basically the same clearances with the Michelins. About 1 1/2 inches between the the tires.
The only problem I have found with this clearance is getting wheel chocks that fit. Sure do like my Michelins.

I installed an Onan Micro LP unit in mine and have been very satisfied with it. Exhaust is run through the floor and extends out on the street side under the basement door. Be sure it is installed in a good insulated box. I checked it under several differant conditions (wind, etc.) and there is no p...

Many of the new 5th wheels are now coming from the factory with LT tires. A lot of them are an extra cost option. I changed my Kendas for the Michelin Ribs and am extremely pleased with the results. Michelin has chosen to not promote trailer use, probably because of there cost, but many of us out he...

*This model has a double refrigerator. How does that work with the 8' icemaker, 10', and 10' icemaker options? I can't help you on this one. Our 5'r has the standard 8' refer wo icemaker. *What is the difference between the 9000 A&E awning and the 2-step awning? I believe these are both manual,...

One other word of caution. I was using pieces of 2x8's under my landing legs. rear stabilizers. and to level side to side under the tires. When traveling I would lay them in the bed of my truck. Last month I discovered two of them were missing and thought I had neglected to pick them up the last tim...

The Michelin web site has pressure recommendations for various axle weights. You need to have have your 5'r weighed to determine the correct pressure. I suspect that 80lb's will be plenty, but you should check it out.

I use Deisel Kleen + Cetane Boost in every tank. I understand that additive sold by Ford is also pretty good. Had problems with the EGR valve coking up until I started using it. No problems since and I have noticed a small increase in MPG, quicker starting , and seems to run quieter.

I was faced with similar concerns when buying my truck. Needed the long wheel base because my aging body is not as forgiving as it once was, and didn't want the hassle of a sliding hitch in a short bed. My parking space is limited so the Crew Cab long bed was not an option even though I know it woul...
