Re: 2008 Cardinal 30 RK LE and 2008 Ford 350
Thanks Debbie, I'm just relieved that this sold so Quickly. I hadn't really advertized it except on here until this last week and put it on Craig's List and had lots of calls and interest in it. I'm so happy for the couple that did buy. They are going to get many years of joy out of it. They were so...

Re: 2008 Cardinal 30 RK LE and 2008 Ford 350

Re: 2008 Cardinal 30 RK LE and 2008 Ford 350
Sorry, but the Cardinal on the right is the one for sale and also that nice King Ranch 350 Ford goes with it. This rig belongs to our Australian Members Tony and Barbara Newell. They have decide to sell their Bird and Truck because of health problems. This breaks their heart to do so but feel this i...

Re: Questions from a "Newbie" RVer
Welcome to the Cardinal Club, your going to have a great time. I've read over most of the advise given about what type of truck to buy. One thing missing is the rear gear ratio. That is one of the most important things that we have found for towing. We have a 1 ton Ford but we had to order ours buil...

Re: Top 10 RV Parks
Rob, We've stayed in the Campground in Bend too, but its been while, boy they've really gone up in price. I think they were $40 a night when we stayed there about 5 years ago. We thought that was high then. I think Jackson Rancharia should be added to the list of RV Parks in a few years when the tre...

Re: Top 10 RV Parks
Don, I bet that bed in the motel 6 wasn't as compfy as the one in your bird too. Last time we stayed in a motel 6 was by Disneyland and it was a Hotel-no-Tell, as Mike called it. I had no idea till he pointed out all the comings and goings. Gave me the creeps.

Re: Oregon Coast Campgrounds
Thanks Marge for the information. We have stayed at the KOA in Warrington before and it was nice, great area to visit. We are getting use to our Beach Front RV park, at the Port of Brookings. As long as you don't want to use the facilities your OK. We found a good laundry up the hill. Zoe is loving ...

Re: Oregon Coast Campgrounds
We are at Brookings now. But we are at the Port of Brookings, we do have a view of the ocean and really nice neighbors, but the park its self has a lot to be desired. We were suppose to stay here for 2 weeks but I think we'll go back up north and look for something at Gold Beach or go south and look...

Re: Oregon Coast Campgrounds
We tried to get into Sunset Beach and several other and they were full. Even Beverly Beach was full. I think everyone is trying to finish off the summer vacations before school starts. We feel lucky to have found the RV parks that we have. Lots of traffic and tourist and the weather is great, nice a...

Re: Oregon Coast Campgrounds
Its really nice not having to hurry through area's. We are actually repeating some of the trips that we went on before when we had to hurry and get back home to work. But we always said that when we retire we'll come back and take our time. We figure we'd better do this while we can health wise, bec...

Re: Oregon Coast Campgrounds
Hi Rob, We left Jackson Rancheria on May 4, so if my math is right as of today we've been traveling 86 days. Its been a great trip so far, no problems with the truck or rig. I'm knocking on wood as I say that. We will be returning home around the first week in Sept. Its still pretty hot in Californi...
