We haved stayed in Benson at the KOA a couple of times and have always had a pleasent experience. It beats driving from Tucson on a daily basics. There is a lot to see in the area, and we recommend staying in the area. No matter how good a campground is, there are always a few who don't like it. :D

Good Sam offers an extended warranty on a yearly contract. This beats spending $2800 all at once. I would check them out. . I’ve always had good service with Good Sam and would trust them over any other warranty offered out there.

Mountain driving isn't all that bad. I usually put my dodge in 3rd or 2nd depending on the downgrade, and only brake to keep the rpms under redline. This seems to work well for me.
