Re: 2008 Ford F 250 power stroke questions
I realise how little the differences are between the two models but in the eyes of Ministry of Transportation it puts the truck into a higher category due to the RGVW. The F250 will serve my needs and I would have been quite happy with the F350 but $$$ will be deciding factor unfortunately

Re: 2008 Ford F 250 power stroke questions
I am about to give up. Due to Ontario laws this personal use vehicle is treated like a commercial transport. Licence fees would be $350 a year rather than $72, and manditory safety every 12 months at $100 minimum, emission test annually. so I have regretfully gotten out of the deal and will search a...

Re: 2008 Ford F 250 power stroke questions
George,
It's white with gold lower accent. Originally shows from Alberta dealership. If it was yours or not why did you trade so soon? What kind of mileage can I expect
Thanks
Len

Re: 2008 Ford F 250 power stroke questions
Thanks for all the comments. This one has the 20"wheels as well as every other conceivable option. When I saw it I could not tell it from new. Not a mark anywhere. Got an Oasis report and it to is a great indicator of zero problems history wise. Could not pass this one up as we have been lookin...

Nothing like what I intended on buying but that's me. Convinced my better half we need it. Just hope the trailer fits as truck ...

What about cost of deisel fuel? I am seriously thinking gasoline engine again. It will get me by alot cheaper than deisel at these prices.

Re: 2008 Ford F 250 power stroke questions
Thanks alot Wayne, Too confusing when reading all that. Info overload. Funny we owned Aerostars, Windstars, Trans Ams all poorly rated and all were fine, My so called junker 1995 Windstar is still being driven by the guy I sold it to back in 1996. If I can order a V10 2009 I will go with it. I figur...

May just s...

Re: 2008 Ford F 250 power stroke questions
Thanks for all the tips. Keep them coming. Here in Canada Ford (as well as the others) is charging apprx 1500$ difference for 1 ton.and 4000$ for 4x4. Our trailer GVWR is 12080#. The V10 will easily do it but they are as rare as 2 moons in the sky. Would have to order from factory and I hope resale ...

Re: 2008 Ford F 250 power stroke questions
Can't see driving around with a 1 ton for the rest of the year. We can only camp 30-40 days a year perhaps a long trip 1 or 2 x and the rest long weekends. Sure a 3/4 ton will ride rough unloaded and a 1 ton even stiffer. This will be our # 2 vehicle and will be driven unloaded more than loaded. I a...
