Re: Glow Plugs Keep Quiting
Can anyone tell me if the glow plug is only to assist in starting the engine or are there other issues such as loss of power etc. The truck seems to perform well on the way to the dealership. I haven't had a glow plug fail while towing. Thanks for sharing your knowledge of glow plugs. I had a glow ...

Re: BIO
I think it has more to do with politics than engineering or anything else. If we were really serious about reducing our dependency on foreign oil, we would stop exporting our domestic oil.

Re: Trailer Hitch ....Regulations When Not Towing
I leave mine in most of the time because I have a bolted on bracket that holds it stable in the receiver. I painted about six inches of the outside ends of the rod that holds the flaps and use a empty soup can to cover the ball which is also painted a bright orange. I don't hit my shins as much as I...

Re: Timbren/Torklift Kits
I am also considering Timbrens because a lot of the cement portions of the highways in my home area must have been installed by Washboard Construction Company and I get porpoising unless I drive about 45 mph and that is not good on 4 lane highways.

Re: B10 Diesel
I ended up at a Shell station on the Florida Turnpike and the pump had nothing about the fuel other than being ultra low sulfur. Sounds like the B10 would of been OK. I had about 1/2 tank already so maybe with the mix I would of ended up at about B5 anyway. Just didn't want to ask for more trouble. ...

Re: Transfer Flow Midship Replacement Tank
I took the DTE bet with 40 miles extra showing to my destination. Darn near run out of fuel and had to stop 15 miles short. I could do with the larger OEM replacement tank but with over 90,000 mile on truck I don't want to spend the money. I'm surprised the truck manufacturers don't offer the option.

B10 Diesel
Stopped at a Pilot station today for fuel and all they had was a B10 blend. I checked my owner manual and nothing above B5 is recommended. It is a 2007 classic without the regen system. I moved on and got fuel elsewhere but was wondering if I really needed to. The way things have been going on this ...

I run into that (pun intended) on occasion myself. Watching my steps instead of where I am going.dpalmer3 wrote:Trying to be more aware of my steps

Re: Banks
Most of our grocery shopping is done at Walmart or Aldi around home and mostly at Winn Dixie when in Florida for the winter. I use all of them as my bank for getting cash back when paying with my debit card. I use my credit card as much as possible and most always for fuel because I get 5% back for ...

Full Time - Almost
Finally got the Gladstone house sold and we are now living in our bird at our Nauvoo site. Over time we have been able to get everything on the property except a house. Bird is setting just outside of the pole barn with 50amps and full hook-up. We figured if we can live in here for 4 months at a tim...

Big Bird, that is great. It sounds like Snyc is being a "stand up" company to do business with.
