Re: Rv trip wizard

I am interested in a good app that will also consider the height and weight limits of my rv. Most just want to show you rv parks and services. I googled the app you mentioned and was not impressed with the reviews I read. I hope to see what you learn from this post.

Re: Ford 2002 7.3 check engine light

Congrats on the new truck.

My 2000 Dually 7.3 has 211k miles and still works well for me. I looked at new trucks last year because I had an itch. But I decided I liked my truck, it's mods, and it has been dependable. Maybe in a year or two.

Re: Ford 2002 7.3 check engine light

My 2000 7.3 wiring harness came loose on the drivers side. Engine only ran on passenger side cylinders and top speed was 55mph without a trailer. Ford has a fix kit for cheap but the labor is a job. The drivers side is the easy side and it took me 1/2 a day. I am old and almost everything takes me h...

Re: Will I ever quit banging my head on my 5'er

LuvRving, I can easily see how someone could get seriously hurt. Hope you get that all behind you soon. I was pleased to read all of these ideas. I like the streamer idea. I have a couple of traffic cones on order and have already started using the swim noodles on the slides. We usually have our bic...

Re: Will I ever quit banging my head on my 5'er

I knew I wasn't the only one bangin his noggin. I also figured there would be some ideas out there. I like the idea of the traffic cone and not having a long cap bill. I am also going to use the noodles and lower them a few inches below the corners. Noodles look bad, but I don't care much about how ...

Me too, that's why I posted. I am still rubbing my head. Wish those compartment doors were hinged differently somehow.

Will I ever quit banging my head on my 5'er

I have had my Cardinal for 8 years and I still bang my head on a regular basis on a compartment door or bedroom slide. I always mutter, I hate 5th wheels, rub my head, and go on till the next time. Year before last, my 55 yr old younger sister knocked herself out on her Cedar Creek bedroom slide. I ...

Re: SRW or DRW

I have many friends that pull big 5th wheels with SW 3/4 and one ton rigs. They don't complain. I have a 2000 Ford dually and it pulls my Cardinal nice. In fact my dually seems to ride better with the trailer on and I scoot right on up the hills. I often wonder if the dually and the lower gear ratio...

Re: Extended Warranties?

I hear people tell about having luck with warranties but it never has been my good fortune. There always seems to be a glitch when I need to file a claim. My last encounter was lifetime warranty pinstriping on wife's 2012 Sienna had a spot come loose. Dealer said bring it in with an appointment and ...

Re: Well I went and done it!

Too many toys is why my dually is a 2000 model. Here is one of my toys. I bought this Dart new in 1968 for $3,590 out the door. Here is a recent picture taken in Austin Texas.

Re: Well I went and done it!

Congrats on the new truck. Glad your happy with it. I need to quit reading threads like this, or I might start dropping by dealerships. Congrats too on owning those super classic Mustangs. Maybe you can find a 429 to add to the stable. I like old cars. I have a 1968 Dodge Dart GTS with a 340 ci engi...
