Re: Transfer Flo
I got the auxiliary tank and had it installed. I opted for the fuel gauge. A nice device to watch while driving! Something like watching your garden grow while shaving. The tank fits like it was made for the limited space available. That is very nice! There is no way I can justify the expense of thi...

West bound I 210 at Rose Bowl
I was traveling on the I 210 east bound and I see myself go west. Ford truck (?) grey and a Newish Cardinal with burgundy full body paint. Then I remembered I was going to our unit to make some repairs and perform some servicing and started crying.

Re: Transfer Flo
At Jackson I saw Mike's new aux tank. Nice, but pricey. I have been fighting an aux tank for years. So, I went shopping! RDS has good tanks, but does not have a unit that fits under the roll top canister of my Pace Edwards tonneau cover. Titan does not answer their phones?? Transfer Flow did answer ...

I was told, but have not confirmed, that bio is hard on turbo's. Rust and/or corrosion issues.

Re: Trailer Hitch ....Regulations When Not Towing
Careful, good ole California, where the inmates run the asylum, says if you have a bracket mounted ball extending beyond the bumper it is a violation of the law to leave it on when not towing. If the ball is attached to the bumper it is not a violation. Little chance of a ticket, but your insurance ...

I have 6" and have bottomed out more than once. As Mike and others have recommended, I cut a diagonal piece off the trailing edge of my pin box and that has reduced the problem drastically.

Re: Selecting A Generator
I double what George says. I had an Onan 5.5 LP installed in the prep box provided by Forest River during manufacturing of the Cardinal. It runs everything we need. We do not dry camp a lot, but when we do it is nice to have. I also use it to keep batteries charged during the winter.

Re: Banks
The Bank of Wal-Mart has limitations since the ABA (American Bankers Association) does not want Sam to have a full service bank. The concern seems to be that Ole Sam will do to banking what he did to Sears, Penny's and others. For convenience we use a Flying J RV card to avoid the hassle of retail p...

I saw a bird at Mt. Olive
If you own the Cardinal vacation trailer that just arrived at the Mt. Olive storage facility leave a note on the Cardinal in back next to the freeway and we can say hello.

Re: Ford Super Duty SYNC - Vehicle Condition Report
LOOK OUT. I was able to talk directly with the SNYC people today. I do not think they are apart of Ford. The VCR or VHR does not expire over a set period of time or mileage. It goes with the original owner for as long as they own the vehicle. The option to access via voice changed and I now go throu...

Re: Ford Super Duty SYNC - Vehicle Condition Report
First, the VCR feature of SYNC comes back on tomorrow and will be on until I reach at least my 100,000 warranty expiration. If not, I have a truck for sale. My truck is a 2009 purchased July 6, 2009, and it has the last of the Navistar diesel engines. The SYNC VCR feature was available day one and o...

Ford Super Duty SYNC - Vehicle Condition Report
My F 250 SYNC "Vehicle Condition Report" (VCR) has saved my rear end (no pun intended) more than once, but I could not use it last week when the turbo turned off. The good news is that I was in REGEN and the turbo turned off because the engine temperature was way too high. When I went to r...
