Re: Looking into a trip to Tennessee
Memphis I just stayed at Tom Sawyer RV Park ($36)in West Memphis Arkansas it is a nice park as you are right on the Mississippi and can watch the river traffic going up and down the Mississippi. However there are not any stores, gas stations or restaurants close by so you have to go about 4 miles to...

Re: Dodge Truck Recall
There is a possibility the water pump bearing may seize causing the serpentine belt to slip and heat up. I have read of a few Cummins owners having to replace there water pump due to failure with a relatively few miles on the truck. The water pump is a Cummins installed part and not FCA even though...

Re: North Rim
Dana gave you good information but during the busy part of the year you will need to get reservations very early for Grand Canyon even for private campgrounds outside the park at Tusayan. Also depending on the winter conditions you may have difficulty getting into the North Rim in May.

Re: I-89 w/o Montpelier, VT 8/18/2017
Saw a new Bird being towed by an early 2000's Silver Ford short bed heading westbound on I-89 west of Montpelier, VT in the afternoon. Sure looked like Steve and Kathy Turner, but I'm not sure. It very likely was Steve and Kathy as they were on their way to Maplewoods Campground in Johnson Vermont ...

Re: MDTV
I don't have a MD Tow vehicle but have checked them out in the past and believe they would handle your trailer better than your Ford 350. The down side is that they can primarily only handle towing your trailer where your 350 will allow you to haul things when not being used to tow.

Re: Prodigy Controller - Short Code
I'm glad you finally found it. I hope you left the new wires on the outside of the axle. I eliminated the wire on the inside of the axle by gong to discs. It sounds like it took me less time to do the conversion than it took you to find the problem Roger Yes we did leave the wires on the outside of...

Re: Prodigy Controller - Short Code
Tracking down a short can be real frustrating as any of you have had to do it can probably testify. We (my friend Rod Hantz) and I spent several hours over four days going through all the tried and true methods suggested by members and all the trouble shooting items in the Prodigy trouble shooting s...

Re: Prodigy Controller - Short Code
Don, you didn't say but is the SH code only when towing or is it also occurring when driving unhitched? If it is only when hitched, I like the ground wire theory. Keith, It is only when hitched and only when the brakes have been applied usually after a coming to a stop from speed. My next steps are...
