Re: for all you 6.0 ford owners

from my understanding it doesnt juice up the motor like an sct tune, the FICM is different then the pcm and only controls a small part of what the tunners do. The word is "stacking" when u put a ficm tune with a pcm tune....and seems that the subtle tunes like the tow tune benefit well fro...

for all you 6.0 ford owners

I have reported in the past that I have fixed the FICMs myself and that we have sent a couple to FICM repair.com. Well FICM repair .com has partnered with power hungry performance, what a great combo. I now have 3 trucks running with FICMs that have been upgraded and repaired by FICM repair.com, 2 o...

Re: F350 Brake Controller Settings

Im with Jeff, and adjust evry time im out. There are alot of variables and you want the best scenario, therefore try braking where it is safe and adjust to taste. I feel that if the trailer is stopping you that you will overheat and wear out the trailer brakes. And if the trailer is pushing you its ...

Re: F350 Trailer Wiring Fault Message

glad to hear you got it all figured out! I pack the triler side plug with di-electric grease also so it will spread to and protect the truck side. Just be careful with the trailer side because if it hits the ground the dirt and or little pebbles will stick to the grease. I use so much between the pl...

Re: Dumb question on electrical hookup to truck

My 250 only had a bed plug and when i towed a tag id ise the extension, then my 350 only had a bumper plug so when we first got it I ran the extension the way you want to. A cleaner solution is to run it between the tailgate and bed, you ...

Re: Decided to keep 2006 F350

That was a JOKE buddy, I knew you wouldnt remove the cab again just for that! WHat was your difference in oil to water temp? did you have cross contamination? What drives me nuts is when somebody takes a 200000 mile motor, does the egr cooler and not the oil cooler while in there or vise versa....ba...
