Re: Oregon Coast Campgrounds

Thank you Torben, we just tried to get into the Blackwelll Island Park, but they were full. They said there is a big Arts Festival this weekend and directed up to another park just down the road. So we are at River-walk RV Park. Very nice people at both parks. We're going to spend a few days here an...

Oregon Coast Campgrounds

For those of you that camp on the coast of Oregon can you recommend a few nice campgrounds that over look the ocean. We are going to be staying at the Port of Brooking , Or. from the 8th of Aug to the 24th. That's right on the beach, but we need to know of others north of that for the trip down to B...

Re: Montana RV Parks

We are in Montana right now, just came down from East Glacier and are in Missoula at the Jellystone Park on Hwy 93. We drove through West Glacier and thought we would have liked that much better it seemed to have more things to do in that area. We stayed at Great Falls KOA, because the rating were b...

The campground we stayed in Rafter J Bar Ranch, Hill City, SD, does have Wi Fi, but you do have to go to the Rec room to use it. Nice place for kids too. Make sure you tell them the size of your rig. We stayed in a area that had full hook ups. Also if your going during a holiday time make your reser...

Re: Mt Rushmore / Black Hills

We were there in Sept, after school's were back in session and it was great. We love the Black hills area, so much to see there. We stayed at Rafter J Bar Ranch RV resort, by Hill City. Very nice park, lots of room. They have a stable for horse back riding also, nice store etc. The location is not f...

Re: Quartzsite Camping

Maybe some of these boondockers will give us some heads up on what to do if we decided to go that way. We do have generators and solar on the cardinal just in case we ever needed it, but the water would really be an issue if we stayed longer than 3 or 4 days. And what about dump stations etc.?

Re: Quartzsite Camping

Torben, I'm repeating what I wrote before for some of the others that didn't see it...... Mike and I aren't boon dockers but we've never tried it either. Thought we'd run out of water too soon. Last time we were there, almost 3 years ago we stayed at Desert Gold RV resort. Its address is for Brenda,...
