I have the 31RK--2006. I looked at both also--and yes--the refrigerator is available with the slide in--handy for rest stops! The pantry is blocked, but much better than a blocked refrig., we thought. There's just the two of us, and I like to be able to have the toilet available without affecting th...

IMHO--I have the electric jacks, and I was tired of waiting for them to go up and down, so I found a very small screwdriver and "gently" push it into the switch when its going up or down, and can do other things--unhook/hook electric, position pads, etc etc while the jacks are running. I t...

Is it true that that area needs air to properly dry the condensation from the inside of the shower walls? I had thought to not seal it to allow it to dry properly. Am I right?

I put my sewer hose in a plastic container from Lowe's that is about 8" tall and simply wind it around into this container, snap the lid shut, and place it anywhere--usually inside the basement. It takes up little room, and I could also place it in the back of the truck. It's easy to hose out a...

Anyone have about a '06 F350 4x4 PSD & Cardinal 31RKLE/e

I'll try to keep this short. Haha. When I bought both rigs, my truck was high in the back, 5er very high in front. I replaced the 4" blocks with 2" in rear of F350. Truck is now low in back, 5er is still slightly high. F350 is just rubbing the overloads. I'm considering 3" blocks, or ...

I probably won't be much help, but I bought my Cardinal from a dealer 50 miles away and i've returned once for warranty issues. My suggestion would be to talk with various independent RV techs in your new area and see if they could do factory warranty work on the Cardinal for you. Attempt to pin the...

I called forest river. they said I was supposed to get the additional year coverage within 10 days! But, he's checking with his "boss" to make an exception for me. I'll let you know what they say. I told him I heard about it on the chat line--NOT from my selling dealer! That seemed to moti...

I heard rumor (NOT from my selling dealer, though) that I could buy an additional year on the Forest River warranty for $100. Does anyone know about this? :?:

slide out unlevel still

Hi folks: Well, we camped 4 nights after major warranty work on my slide out (see previous post). All went pretty well, but I have a question. My floor on the kitchen slide is still NOT level--it's better, but the table is noticeably unlevel compared to the rest of the rig. The dealer said it was fi...

Update on repaired slide out problem!

Hi folks: Thought I'd give a report on my previous posts concerning my kitchen slide that caught at the top when out and coming in, plus unlevel, etc. issues. I finally got the rig back yesterday after 3 weeks in the shop at Apache Camping Center in Everett for warranty work. I'm giving you the name...

sticking slide

My dealer is taking pictures and contacting Forest River. When I brought it in for this trip, it actually went in at least one half inch farther than the side. Mine has major issues, I think.
