Re: Pin Box Adjustment

Gary,
The center point system raises the trailer about 1" , it is a great system I have had it on two Cardinals.
It really improves the ride inside the trailer, no bouncing .

Re: Pin Box Adjustment

I checked my tail gate, height is 58" and my hitch in the truck still has holes to raise. I have 7 " of bed rail clearance, however my trailer sits higher because I have the Trail Air Center point air ride spring system with 8,000 lb. dexter springs and can adjust the back of trailer with ...

Re: Pin Box Adjustment

I have the Trail Air Tri Glide and for me it performs better than the standard Trail Air pin box. It removed all the forward / backward jerking when hitting those highway joints that throws the weight back and forth for a few moments, also it will add about 2" to the height in the same hole. I ...

Re: Marathon 235/80r16 trouble

Your trailer does have 7000 lb axles but the factory derated them on the label to match the tires.
Go with the g614 before you have a tire failure.

Re: Payload of your DRW Trucks

Three of my friends just bought 1 ton Rams single rear wheel, I think if the other big two do not promote some deals Dodge will out sell them all.
But like I said most Rams come with the standard Trans and it is a huge cost to get the Aisin trans. and brings the cost close to Fords and GM trucks.

Re: Payload of your DRW Trucks

John, I really like my GMC truck, any brand you pick will do a good job, however I am a GM truck person so I would only recommend GM truck. You will find that GM trucks are a little more costly and harder to make a deal, Ram is one of the better deals but once you start stepping up to the Aisin tran...

Re: Best Short Box Hitch? Auto Slide?

The Pullrite is one of the best auto slide hitches on the market, I had one for years and never had a problem, it always worked great with no slack in the system. The only downside is with any of the auto slides is hooking up and disconnecting, the truck needs to be fairly straight with the camper f...

Re: Who has gone from a long boxTV to a short box?

B&W makes a auto slider hitch now and many other brands make them, in the early days only one company made a auto slider hitch.
The newer model 5th wheels are making the caps to use with short bed trucks.

Re: F-350 Coolant Additive Question

It prevents the cavitation erosion ( not electrolysis ) from occuring. Cavitation can, over time, blow a hole in your cylinder walls and allow coolant to enter the crankcase or combustion chamber, depending where the hole is. It was somewhat normal on diesels until somebody came up with the additive...

Re: F-350 Coolant Additive Question

Diesel engines use an anti-corrosion /erosion additive, all our plant diesel engines use an additive in the cooling systems, without the additive the block gets pitting and will fail. We do a yearly coolant test for proper amount of additives, however if you have cooling problems this product does n...

Blue Ox Bed Saver BRX4700

I have a new never installed Blue Ox Bed Saver BRX4700 for sale. A bed saver is a device that prevents you from dropping your trailer on the truck bed if the hitch is not hooked up correctly or if you forget to put the landing gear down. When you pull out it will catch the trailers pin box and stop ...
