Hi all, I have given up on my F450! It has puked its last injector on me! I have made the choice to jump either fence to Dodge or GM. I would like to hear from all who are towing heavy with both. Our rig has a GVWR of 15500, so tow ratings have to be above that. I know Dodge has 17600 and GM has 168...

Yup, its been so long the inspection ran out! Down since Mem day weekend off and on...more off than on. Have some trailers to move today, we'll find out

Okay...Got my truck back this afternoon, New Ford trans, external cooler and filter. It seems to be working correctly, so far. Best part is it comes with a 3 year/100,000 mile warranty. I hope not to use it!!!

Well, I knew it was to good to be true! Trans still has issues. Just sent the company responsable an e-mail requesting that we stop playing games and replace this with a new or reman from Ford. Either that or its court time. I have been without my truck all summer and now its time to stop.

Talked to the trans shop this am. He said there is a sensor that tells the lock up in the converter if its in reverse or not. If it fails, it could tell the trans to shift into reverse.
