last I heard Ford around 99 had some torque converters splitting, most were replaced under warranty, mine has 235k miles with no issues. Allison....no issues that I have ever heard of. DOdge.......I have heard the auto tranny has been the week link for years, granted I am biased and would drown out ...

Just wondering if anybody here has had experience with General Grabber HTS tires on either their truck or possibly an suv. Also if anybody has had experience with Yokohama geolander at-s tires on either their truck or suv? Thankyou guys, I have all kinds of tire experience but have yet to have these...

The new trucks are so finiky that i practice better safe than sorry. The Drain is easy to get to so on the 25 ish trucks I maintain I drain them every time I change the oil. Also helps keep fuel from running everywhere when you unscrew the filter covers.

good luck on the upgrade, we have over 3k pin wt and have no air bags. but i have a ford, im sure sombody has ur set up and will chime in.
