Glad I bought mine when I did. Had better last a looooooong time! The bad news is the Federal Government is considering adopting California’s rules on emissions.
Wonder if I can pull my bird with an electric truck?

Re: FREE! FREE! FREE!
We're waiting on the shades for the bedroom, should be in this week. We got the others and put them up. They fit very nicely. We attached them to the shadow boxes instead of the wall. In the bedroom we'll have to do something different because there is no shadow box. I'll post pictures in the Mods s...

Re: Manual
I installed a secondary switch to the landing gear which is mounted inside the compartment. This allows me to shut off all power to the landing gear preventing anyone from playing with the raise/lower switch also makes a great anti-theft device. Many people have had problems with the Concertone unit...

Re: FREE! FREE! FREE!
We have blinds ordered from American Blinds.
http://www.americanblinds.com
They offer a lot of different makes, styles, sizes and colors. We looked locally but everyone had blinds that were either too wide or too long.

Re: Trucks
Welcome to the club Larry. :ymhug: Charles is right. It depends on which bird you bought. Some pull theirs with a ¾ ton while others prefer the extra stability of a larger truck with dual wheels. Some like diesels while others prefer gasers. Whatever you get, get lots of bells & whistles (gives ...

Re: Duramax engine braking
At 4k rpm the engine seems to be screaming, so I will not let it get above that (no technical stance there). 30-40 psi seems about right for mine but I run synthetic oil although I’m not sure that makes a difference.

Re: Duramax engine braking
I see there's an article for those with the Duramax (LLY) in the June issue of Trailer Life Magazine on an electronic device from Banks Engineering to improve engine braking. It might be of some interest to some of you. Rob Thanks for the information, Rob. :thumbrt: I haven’t had any problems so fa...

They’ll probably throw in a plastic bed liner and tack an additional $1,000 onto the selling price.
