Re: Dometic Americana Refrigerator Recall

I think they may have scared you unnecessarily. Yes there could be an issue. But we ran ours for a couple years after recall with no problem. We could have gotten it fixed in about a week but we were heading through the area our dealer is on the 24Th, so we chose to have it done at that time. They ...

Re: Dometic Americana Refrigerator Recall

We were reading some of the past post and came across the Dometic refrigerator recall. Well guess what; we checked the numbers and ours is on the list and even after ten years it was never repaired. Called Dometic and they confirmed it had not been repaired and instructed us to turn it off immediate...

Re: Trailer Hitch ....Regulations When Not Towing

I leave mine in the receiver all the time also. It sits just a little lower than the bumper which helps me step into the truck bed. For some reason my legs just don't seem to stretch as far as they used to.

Re: Dodge Ram

My Ram has the 6 speed manual transmission and I love it. I notice most have the automatics. I hope that is just because they don't want to have to shift themselves.

Re: my 2012 F350 died today

I agree Keith, however, I know just enough to be dangerous, so I'll just call the Good Sam ERS folks and let them tow me to the nearest Ford dealer. Don't call them very often, they are telling me they no longer want me as a customer because I used them too often. I called and asked them if there w...

Re: So much closer to being fulltimers

And to help with AC and heat, remove the fabric batting from around the door (those buttons are snaps). Then add insulation to the big gaps you will find! I was standing next to our door one cold windy day and realized there was a lot of cold air coming in from around the door! Much better now. Hop...

Re: So much closer to being fulltimers

Well I am now considering Cherryl and I as being fulltimers. Of course I am still working, but she has retired. We are living in our Bird fulltime, but still waiting on the house to close. We love the coziness of the bird. We have not had any issues other than having to level it after it settled for...

Re: Truck toolbox clearance for cardinal 3450?

My truck is a long bed and I am wondering if my box is going to work also. I haven't had time to check it out yet. It's a deep box and bolts to the bed rails. It sits fairly high. I noticed when I was backing in to my site that the front cap looked close, but of course I am a newbie and it was a lit...

Re: Bird Didn't Care

Wow, it's hard to believe that knowing there is a club that is so informative, that somebody would not want to be a part of it. I am so glad that i joined. I would have been lost. There are still a couple of members that own the same model as mine. That is a big plus.
