The only time you may have a concern is IF you are on uneven ground. In that situation a 90 degree turn could cause the front cap to hit the truck cab. For that reason I have a slider and I confess I have always been careful and never had to use it.

I was traveling east on the 210 freeway in Los Angeles today about 2 pm coming up on the La Tuna Canyon off ramp and this bird passes me going west. Too early for Solvang. If it was you, you were looking good.

I have triangle kit in bed of truck and fire extinguuisher in FW. Never had FW in PA and not sure I will, but safe is better than sorry.

I do not think this was a new FW, but it was well maintained. And it was big. I have some toy haulers stored near us at the storage lot and they are big.
