Said yes today to new 35 SB. Should pick it up next week. Can't believe how difficult it has been trying to run down a suitable rig. One dealer even refused to make an offer on his 35 SB! Thought that things were tight in the RV world? Ended up with the same dealer at $3K more for less value. Do hav...

:( Berrylandcampers doesn't want our business. I sold RVs off and on for a couple of years--don't mind the dealer making a reasonable profit, but it needs to be competative, too. They wanted $6K more than the one we ordered from CW and didn't want to negotiate. Take it or leave it, so we left it. Th...

Dealer did find one, but not sure if we can make it work. There are two '08s at Berryland. Don't know why our dealer couldn't work with them. Waiting to get our deposit refunded and then will talk with Berryland--have heard good reports on them. Both rigs have a lot of options we don't need, but can...

Why can't it just be easy?
Not sure if we'll own a 35 SB or not. Was concerned since we hadn't heard a build date and was getting blown off by the dealer. Finally got the dealer to respond to some of our questions and got a phone call from the factory on some questions the dealer couldn't answer. Lo and behold, Cardinal has c...

A question we should have asked?
Just realized that the SB models doesn't have an overhead cabinet above the vanity in the bedroom! Does anyone know why there isn't one? The folks are still taking a break for Christmas and I haven't been able to ask if Forest River would install one. When we visited the factory they didn't seem acc...

Ordered a 35 SB Today!
Guess that we can thank (or blame) you all for your responses to our questions about Cardinals because we ordered a 35 SB today at CW in Byron GA--the closest dealer to us. It sure is hard to order on shear faith since we didn't see the floorplan we ordered! Now the waiting game begins; they hope it...

Don, thanks for the reference on the Cardinal frame problem. Ours was mostly in the hitchpin area, but we did have the brackets supporting the equalizers starting to peel off the frame. After looking at the pictures, I am almost convienced that Lippert had some type of metal problems with their fram...

Just got our 5W back from being repaired. The pinbox and the cross beam were replaced. Looked at the cross beam and it was cracked 80% of the way across the beam---total failure was very near indeed. The tech who did the work and has been a tech for 27 years felt that the frame had been underbuilt t...

Any Cardinal Frame Problems
:?: Thought that I'd posted this yesterday, but it didn't show up on the forum---strange! Anyway, we have a '04 Montana which is experiencing its fourth frame problem. Hope they fix it well enough to trade it in on a cardinal 35 SB. Have major concerns since Cardinal uses a Lippert frame, too. Any i...

2008 floorplans?
Seems like the Forest River web site is very outdated. They still haven't posted 2008 floorplans. Is this normal--haven't found any other mfgr. that we are interested in which doesn't have 2008 info. Went to RV Direct and told the salesman that we wanted a 35RTL but with a side bath and a queen bed....
