Re: Slight Vibration

Do you have a stick shift/manual transmission? If so, there is a throw-out bearing related to the clutch disc and pressure plate. There is also a pilot bearing/bushing in the flywheel which centers the input shaft of the manual transmission. If you have an automatic transmission there is bearing in ...

Re: Interesting Video on Oil Filters

I’ve used Motorcraft for 200,000 miles on my ‘08 F-350 and my ‘18 F-350 thinking OEM was best. I had no issues. I know it is Fram because of matching numbers and features. After seeing this video I’m going to Wix!

Re: Best mud flaps for a dually pick up

Check online with either WeatherTech or Lloyd for mudflaps and or floomats. They provide best coverage and easy installation. Tends to be better than factory products.

Re: 2500 or 3500

I agree with The others. I would keep the 3500. At 16000 km it is barely broken in, and it is your TLC. Have it polished and you are good as new:)

Washing Machine Draining to Black Water Holding Tank

We recently learned from a new club member that their new Cardinal Model 3875FB equipped with a washer/drier was plumbed from the factory with the drain going to the Black Water Holding Tank. Although as the factory states, "It is not a code violation." It is a major owner inconvenience. H...

Re: Indian Waters RV Resort, Indio, CA

Your signature block does not tell us what your trailer is. Do you have hydraulic levelers or electric front landing gear and manual/electric rear stabalizers? Are the jack pads metal directly on concrete? Steel on concrete can chirp and squeak as things warm up and cool down. I put a wood block or ...

Re: Classic Cardinal

That is an early 60s era trailer. The windows and tail lights give it away. The rear clearance lights are newer generation. Still it is in good shape. Any 1/2 ton pickup can tow it. I’d say it is a 15 footer.

Re: Concertone For Sale

Steven, Yes I have it. If you would like it much sooner than the rally, we can get together. We are only 90 minutes apart. Just curious. Is yours getting power and not behaving correctly, or has it lost power? I believe there is an in-line fuse behind the unit in the cabinet. The face trim bezel sna...

Re: New truck tires

I see you have an ‘07 F-350, so should have E rated tires. I just looked at the door tag on my ‘08 F-350. It calls for 60 psi front, and 80 psi rear. Just like my ‘18. I learned something today.

Re: New truck tires

If you have E rated tires marked for 80psi you should run the rear at 80 for towing. 60 psi is not sufficient. If you have 65 psi marked tires run them at 65, not 80.

Re: New truck tires

My tires display 80 psi. My '18 F-350 door sticker says 80 psi for rear and 60 psi for front. This is the first truck where I have seen this difference on the label. I would definitely run 80 psi in rear tires while towing your 3850. You have a heavy hitch weight. Underinflated tires build up excess...

Re: New truck tires

I would consider what the majority use of the truck is, and put tires on it appropriately. If you travel off road or in snowy, slushy, sandy, muddy conditions then all terrain tires are best. If your use is highway driving then all-season tires are best. I have tried many truck tires over the years ...
