New Turbo
Bingo! I am glad I purchased the warranty. The day I left for Colorado, I blew a turbo clamp. One of my buddies told me to carry a spare standard 3 inch clamp just in case and I had to use it. My turbo clamp popped l& it sounded like a shotgun blast. I pulled over in the shoulder of I-70 and put...

Salina, Kansas
Stayed at Sundowner west on August 13th and saw Cardinal pulling out when I woke up. I tried to say howdy but the bird flew away before I could get down the steps.

Bingo! I am glad I purchased the warrnty. The day I left for Colorado, I blew a turbo clamp. I happened to carry a spare 3 inch standard hose clamp and put it on along the side of the road. I stopped at Ford and they installed a new properclamp and told me that I may have a 299 code for over/ under ...

My 2006 f250 warranty is about to expire in about 5k miles. I have 89k miles on the truck. with the 6.0 psd. Ford dealer is offering 4 year 48kmiles for $2,800. Re: Towing hard
I have nearly the same rig you have 33ckt with f-250 SRW 6.0 PSD. My trailer weight on tag is same as yours. My bird wheel spacing is about 1/3/4 inches. This rig is pretty heavy as far as towing is concerned but the Ford truck is built to pull them all day long, and other folks in construction indu...

Re: Best route through the Rockies
Glad to see this post because planning a trip to Keystone area. The loveland Pass photo puts things into perspective.
Has anyone camped along the I-70 route in the mountains? I am looking for a couple nice places to stay.

Re: tonneau covers
I have the Truxedo low pro and love it but found out this week that when i have my slider hitch in the rear position, the pin box hits the Truxedo frame when turning too far.

Re: 46 New Members so far for March!!
Thank you to all involved in setting up and maintaining this site. Your efforts are really paying off which is evident from the increased membership. Re: tonneau covers
I have the Truxedo also and love it . (Low profile style) not 100 % leak proof but good enough for my needs. With a little foam tape, i think I could make it 98%. The leak points are in the 4 corners of the bed rail.

Re: Montauk Trout Fishing
Another good place for Trout fishing is Bennett Springs State Park. It is a little more upscale than Montauk and the stream is little wider. I like the camp ground at montauk better.

Re: Reece 16K hitch problem
I looked at my 16 k hitch and have a center pin about 1 inch + in diameter. This pin has a flat piece of metal welded on one end and the other end has a small hitch pin with a ring. This pin attaches the upper reciever part of the hitch to the swivel mechanism. My pin rotates also because I can see ...

Montauk Trout Fishing
Montauk State Park bound at the end of March. Hope to land the big one with my Fly Rod. Montauk is a great place to camp because the camp sites are within walking distance to the stream and the fishing is great!
