My feelings are that with the 3030 you would be maxed out with the hitch weight with the 2500.
Personally with that few miles I would stay with the 3500. I am still pulling with my 06 3500 with 193,000 miles and will hopefully get 75,000 miles or more out of it.

We stayed at ABC or Americas Best Campground when we had the 2012 National Rally in Branson. It is one of the larger campgrounds in Branson was a good campground and is still rated at 8.1 by RV Parks Review. They held the 2016 Southern Rally at Branson Lakeside RV Park and it is rated at 7.1 . The y...

Re: Classic Cardinal
We have seen one of those at the Music Festival we go to in Northern Wisconsin - It was an older Cardinal and I was wondering if it is just a Coincidence that they have the name Cardinal and no real relation to the Company in Indiana that makes these Rigs now.. Anyone know for sure???? No they are ...

Re: Classic Cardinal
These were the Cardinals built by Adams in El Monte California from about 1957 to 1972. I saw one that had been restored at a Vintage RV show in Elk Grove California about 5 years ago.

Re: Non electric campsites
John's question about the type of refrigerator makes a difference on how long the batteries will last. The RV gas/electric refrigerator uses much less battery because it only requires a quick burst of power to light the unit and then it operates on propane. The residential refrigerator operates usin...

Re: New truck tires
I had a friend go through that. He went home and took the tires off at home took them back to Costco and they changed them out. The strange thing is the same tires were available at another tire dealership about 2 miles away for only about $12 per tire more he was just hard headed enough that Costco...

Re: New truck tires
When I bought my used 2006 Dodge 3500 dually from the local GMC dealer it had 38,000 miles and they replaced the original tires with Hankook. I have 182,000 miles on the pick up now and have had 2 sets of General tires and just purchased my second set of Hankook tires in June of 2017.

Re: 06 Dodge 3500 Transmission
Roy I am hoping to get another 180,000 miles with this rebuilt transmission so at approximately 20,000 mpy (miles per year) that should get me to about 2026. I just hope I hold up that long.

06 Dodge 3500 Transmission
The torque converter on my 06 Dodge went out December 20. When it went out it took out the transmission with it. I took it to the dealer and they wanted $5,500 to rebuild it so I took it to the Transmission shop I use and they rebuilt it with a heavy duty torque converter for $3,900. It took a littl...
