Spotted a Cardinal heading east on Galbrath Line just east of Wildcat Rd. in Sanilac County MI. it was about 4:50 pm Friday May 25th.
Looked to be a 2005 or 2006 Bunk House being pulled by a white Chevy daully. Nice Looking set up
I thought I was the only Cardinal to travel that road.

Re: what air bag?
Hi Rick,
I installed the Firestone Ride-Rites on my 3/4 ton and they work great. They really buffer the bounce when driving over bumps like you find on bridge approaches. I have to air up each side individually.

Re: 2011 f250 & cardinal 3150 trail-air 5th wheel
If I were to get one today I would go with the Trail-Air. From everything I have read they take out the bounce as well as the jerking. I am also considering the Hensley air hitch. If you watch for a sale they are only $300-$400 more. Check to see if you have drug your ladder by feeling underneath th...

Re: 2011 f250 & cardinal 3150 trail-air 5th wheel
Welcome to the club Rick. I see you are from Gods area code (906). I have the same trailer as you and my truck is a 2008 Chevy 2500. My pin box is the stock one with the rubber in it (no air) and it has just scrubbed a little of the Rino lining off the lip of my box. I'm pretty sure it can be repair...

that's true John, but it's kind of cool to poke a big bumper ahead of a 5.0 Mustang light to light. Not that I've ever done that before

They are all the best trucks in the world as long as they are pulling a Cardinal fifth wheel or travel trailer

Welcome to the us land mass of climate change. In your previous life it was the same old weather everyday. Now that you're on soil way North of the equator, it will change. And daily. Good luck and see you in Memphis. The weather in Michigan is known to change every 5 minutes! Welcome home Ex Pats!...

Westbound on I-94 Dec. 14
Spotted a Cardial being pulled by what looked like a MT-50. It was westbound on I-94 just south of the St. Clair County line (32 mile rd. exit) in Michigan today at about 1:20. Nice looking rig!

Re: Fuel Stops
Jim, You can leave the life jackets.....but the flares might be a good idea. On second thought you might need to trade your flare gun and launch flares for the kind that sit on the ground. Or you can pick up a couple of those floresent orange foldable triangle signs and leave the fireworks for the 4...

Re: Way to go Michigan!
We may have to time our trip to Michigan with the Midwest rally John. Looking at the DNR site it looks like most Campgrounds in the U.P. don't turn on the water or open thier campground restrooms until the middle of May and I see northern lower turn on the water anywhere from mid April to early May...

Re: Way to go Michigan!
The really good thing about the State Parks in MI is that most of them are located on the prime ground for an area. Most are on an inland lake, next to a great river, historical sites, or hiking trails. A few but not many have full hook ups. Most of the sites that are coded as modern only have 30 am...

Re: To Superglide or not?
Hi Keith, I had a Superglide in a short bed Dodge 2500. I really liked not having to deal with sliding the hitch back when cutting the camper. 2 things I didn't like about it was that, #1. I was always getting grease on my myself from the lubricant that is on the way tubes (the bars that the hitch s...
