Re: Toyota
I can hear the RV salesmen now....'Mr. Smith, your Toyota will pull any trailer or 5th wheel we have on the lot...after all, it towed the shuttle with no problems!'

Piney Campground, Land Between the Lakes (Kentucky/Tennesee) and Monte Verde, Angel Fire, New Mexico. Nice quiet parks with beautiful scenery!

Re: Transmission trouble
I bit the bullet this week and joined the Ford owners in this Club, I replaced the Ram with a 2012 Ford, F350 DRW 2 wheel drive, 8' bed. I had to go to a DRW to get 3.73 axles as the only ratio the offer with the diesel in the single wheel 2 wheel drive is the 3.31. The truck certainly rode rougher...

Re: Winterizing your home
Turn water off at main and drain cold water lines highest to lowest - don't forget washer Close plugs in sinks and put lids down on toilets to keep water from evaporating and leaving traps dry (stinky!) or add the pink stuff to them Cover outside faucets with insulated wrap and covers Set water heat...

Re: West Coast 101
And try to avoid 101 between Novato and Santa Rosa during afternoon commute hours - typically Mon thru Fri between 3pm and 6pm. There is an area there the locals call "The Narrows" where the road narrows to 2 lanes each direction, and it just can't handle the massive traffic. I have been c...

Re: Where to stay this winter
So....lots of good info! Thinking maybe 1/2 the winter around Phoenix (Casa Grande or Apache Junction) and then rest out further (Hauchuca, Tubac).
NASCAR is generally in Phoenix early March, that is a big draw
Guess we need to decide soon so we can get reservations done!!!

Where to stay this winter
We are just now starting to plan our winter get-away. Anyone have ideas for great places to stay in the Arizona area for the winter? Looking for 3 months or maybe a bit longer. We enjoyed Mission,TX last winter, but would like some new views!
Anyone going to be staying in that area?
Thanks

Re: Grandmas rv park Shepardsville KY
I have heard about a few parks with multiple dog rules...some quite ridiculous!! I figured it was a way of saying "your dog is not welcome here" without actually saying it and alienating a large percentage of potential customers. Same with kids riding bikes in a supposedly family friendly ...
