Re: Diesel Newbee

I think I will pick up a 2 1/2 gallon at Walmart and have it with me for piece of mind. If it is due and I am fueling I will get it at the pump. The info of your experiences has really helped this new diesel owner, thanks :d

Diesel Newbee

We are getting ready to head for the Klamath rally and it will be our first trip towing with a diesel. Re: Tire Pressure Monitors

We have the TST 507 flow through and have been pleased. Last year we picked up a nail and saw a low tire pressure in a tire and added air before a problem. Nice being able to monitor as you drive :thumbrt:

Re: "Anniversary To Us"

Congrats on 50 years! Nice looking set up and I am pretty sure you will enjoy the diesel when towing the trailer. The learning process will be in parking the pickup in a parking lot! Don It has been a challenge in the parking lots. I need to widen the door on my pole barn to get it in. Haven't towe...

Re: 2013 Trail Air Pin Box

I had the Trail Air installed and it put the bird nose high so we raised the pin box up one bolt and it rides much better now. Towing is much better with the Air box vs the standard box.

Re: Trailer Hitch ....Regulations When Not Towing

I could cut the hitch off just behind the ball but that would be a shame and I just may need the ball in the future to tow a to small trailer sometimes. I did just that. I had an older ball cut off and added a flat plate, then installed the Rock Tamers when towing the Bird. Works great :thumbrt: I ...

Re: Will I ever quit banging my head on my 5'er

While at the Yellowstone rally I bumped my head so hard I fell backwards and caught my self and tore a ligament in my arm. Being on blood thinners this was the result the next morning  I now have a safety cone set by the bed slide-out and haven't bumped since :thumbrt: http://i955.photobucket....
