The ideal situation is to have your tow vehicle weigh more than whatever is being towed but, we all know that isn't feasible. I agree that the marketing ploy is getting rediculous and unsafe but, the outcome will be interesting.

The air bags will take care of the vibration on takeoff, did for me. Same rig as you have.

I installed air bags on my F350 however, I don't have a compressor hooked to them. I just put the air into each bag from the shrader valves that I mounted in the top license plate holes. I traded up from my 2006 6.0 to the new 6.7 also and I never had any issues either with my 6.0. I really do like this new rig they just keep getting better and more complicated.

Rich, did you ever have the "blue spring" kit installed in the fuel pressure regulator? That will increase fuel pressure and help with injector failure.
