Shoot! My Dodge has to be tied to the rail to keep it from moving at idle with my 31RKLE! :)

What is the problem with the dodge auto? I have nearly 70k on mine with the 48 tranny pulling my FW and a bunch of excavation equipment with nary a problem. I know the 47 was light but I do believe they have fixed their problems. Or am I missing some info.

Well, IMHO, slides were put there to use and newbies have a ball wowing the lookers on how it opens up to a real room! I still like to watch them. But, I store closed because it keeps everything a little better sealed against bugs, snow, moisture, etc. on the slides themselves. Supports are complete...

if it gets slippery out you'll want to switch it off as only your rear truck wheels are trying to slow the entire rig, and things like that tend to lead to jack-knife situations.. Good reminder, coming into the winter season we tend to forget that stuff. My Pac Brake does wonders on the Dodge CTD, ...

I also do that, but bought an A-B switch at radio shack so I could switch from xm to tv audio with the push of a button. Our TV has a second video input in the rear (fun to get at  ) so the DTV goes in one video, DVD in the other, and XM in the AB switch. Makes life very lazy. :) But, if you tr...

They are all heated and thermostatically controlled. Just have some fluid in the tanks and turn them on. but if you have heat going, don't sweat 37. we have been down to 10 degrees with no ill effects, other than the propane running like water.

tank heaters are electric on the 12 volt side just like the water pump.
The plumbing in the basement however is protected by warm air from the furnace.
Where the shower head screws onto the valve body is another flow limiter that you should remove.

mods

I think the trick with engine mods is to be careful. Now I put a BD on mine and I love it. But I don't put my foot into the pedal either. Without it I just have a hard time to get to speed, with it I can get up to speed much easier. I keep the EGT at 1250, take it out of overdrive on hills, and just...

My Reese Hitch has a throwdown latch to hold the hitch locked which you can pin or padlock. BUt I can see the turning angle could pull the cable tight and pull the pin or, as it did once, get trapped under the lube plate. I think you have all talked me into putting a small dog chain latch on the hit...

I use Bridgestone Dueler's on all of my vehicles as they are the best pulling tires I have ever used. NEver tried them on a trailer because I go for cheap on those, anything rated works.

Sure! I have had a few misgivings about the workmanship in some areas, but that is our society now. But, I am capable of fixing most anything so it gives me a chance to complain and to get away fromt he business for a while. I have stayed in too many hundred motels in my years, and it is so great to...

I think I have the winter package, but I won't lay a bet on it! But, last spring we took a trip to Texas and Colorado, altitude about 8200 ft. Of course it was 70 the week before. :D We pulled into our daugter's drive, parked, a little muddy, comfortable in long sleeved shirt, hooked up the power, f...

I just stared at it and said to myself, "My God, what have we done?" My DH said the roads sure did shrink too!! Now they are all stretched back out to regular size. I have pulled equipment trailers for years, and those are the exact words my wife and I said. The height is what confounds y...
