Come on NORTHWEST Cardinal Members come out and have a great time in JUNE 2010.
Its only a 2-3-4 hour drive for most of the Northwest members, even I the Olbird has no problem driving those few hours to have fun and meet fellow members.

Call the Resort and make your reservations ( 503-622-4011 ) tell them you are with Cardinal RV Club and ask for a open site in Vine Maple from sites 70, 72, 73, 74, 75, 76, 77, 78,79, 80.

We will have a great time, you can drive up to Mt.Hood and do some fun things or just hang out around the campfires.
This is a very nice campground with shaded camp sites, swiming pool.

Martha told me "I didn't think You (Don) could schedule any more Rallys this year without eliminating the family commitments! I understood with the tone of her voice what she meant. So I guess 4 is about all we will get to this year!!

I plan on making others in the future because there is so much more of this country I need to see or see again! And so many new friends to meet!

We would of liked to make this one, but have too many family commitments the first part of July, so our PNW trip starts June 26th.

We'll be staying at the Cedar Grove Shores RV Park at Lake Goodwin from June 30 - July 6, leaving home on June 26, via Bend and Wenatchee, then head for Astoria and points south after that. I was considering staying at one of the USFS campgrounds on the Mountain Loop Highway east of Granite Falls, but I'm not to sure if that's a good plan with a tall 5er, plus the RV park is just $10 more a day and has FHU. Lots of sightseeing to do, it's been 20+ years. Wish we had a month more to spend on this trip.

Yea! We just made our reservations.....the kids will still be in school so we're scheduled to arrive Saturday June 12 and will leave late Monday so we have a chance to meet some folks. We're excited as this will be our first Cardinal Rally, even though we've had our Bird for almost three years......we've been to many, many Outbackers.com rallys over the past five years. We're in site 78.....since we're Cardinal Rally newbies, do you typically have a potluck one of the nights?

Glad you guys can make it!! This is a get together more so then a rally so a little more informal but still lots of fun, looking forward in meeting you guys. You might also check out the Western National Rally section, large rally in Yellowstone/Glacier this year.
