I'm looking to book a trip to Memphis or Nashville Tennessee. I was wondering if anyone camped anywhere near these areas. Also I'm trying to figure out the weather in these Areas in the winter months. I usually go to key west but Irma ruin those plans. So I'm looking for an alternative.

You might try checking out 'Tom Sawyer RV park' , right on the Mississippi River and VERY nice, quiet place! Close to Memphis itself, and then there are Busses to take to see the sights. Google the park, my campground book is in the Camper right now! Lots to see in that area!

We are in horn Lake Miss. right now. Staying at EZ Days campground. This is about 5 miles south of Memphis. There are 3 campgrounds on Music Valley Rd. Nothing special but rather expensive

Memphis
I just stayed at Tom Sawyer RV Park ($36)in West Memphis Arkansas it is a nice park as you are right on the Mississippi and can watch the river traffic going up and down the Mississippi. However there are not any stores, gas stations or restaurants close by so you have to go about 4 miles to West Memphis or 15 miles into Memphis. As Dennis mentioned there are two or three RV parks just in Mississippi in South Haven area. There are lots of places in Memphis to visit and lots of places to eat as well.

Nashville
I stayed at Yogi Bear's Jellystone in 2014 in early October and half of the park was already taken up with Christmas decorations for a fund raiser they do each year and sites were limited and a couple of the other parks were doing renovations so getting a site was challenging and expensive at that time. The site I had was level and long enough that I didn't need to disconnect however I did because I stayed two days and explored the area. There is lots to see and do in the Nashville area.

If you want recommendations just add it to your posting and myself and others who have stayed in those areas will give you lots of options.

We just stayed at Nashville North KOA and it was OK not great. Sites were long but roads were narrow. We stayed at Tom sawyer also and it was a great place like others have said. When we made our reservations they gave us directions and advised not to follow the GPS and it was very true, we would stay there again :thumbrt: Safe travels.
