Am thinking about getting the bird out of storage and head to a low risk state for camping. Has anyone been traveling to other states and are they putting any restrictions on out of state travelers (like quarantine)?

California RV parks are pretty well shut down and currently they are not set to reopen until May 1 at the earliest. They have even pushed back the trout season opening here.
New Mexico has shutdown all of the state parks and the Governor of New Mexico has given no indication when they will be allowing them to reopen. I am not sure about the private RV parks in the state.
Brad Jacobsma can give more info on Colorado as they are work camping at a state park in Colorado.

On our way home a little over 2 weeks ago we would have had to self quarantine on our site for two weeks in Kentucky. I am assuming others will be similar.

All of the State Parks are opening May 1. I think the private parks are doing the same. They are looking for workers to fill positions all over the State. That is about all I know.

North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Iowa and Arkansas do not have an Isolate at Home policy and because of that the campgrounds in those states are probably open. If they are not open right now because of winter they most likely will be May 1.

Kentucky State parks are closed to overnight camping at least until May 15th. Private parks I am not sure. There is a 14 day quarantine for anybody coming into the state. The governor loosened restrictions starting today on medical office visits and other out patient services and dental visits with lots of guidelines for them to adhere to. He stated last night at his briefing that tonight he would give us more info on what would be opened next.

Thanks for the replies, may have to hold off until mid May to see what states plan on doing.

We were prepared to leave Florida May 1 but our campground in Ohio and all state and private CG are closed  and May not open until mid May at the earliest. So we will stay put for another month. I will need to reschedule doctor appointments we had in May. One will still be kept virtually on May 4. Oh well we feel safe here :thumbrt:
