Looking for a nice campground in the Tucson, Arizona area. We plan to be in that area the first of April, the grandkids (ages 13 and are coming down during their spring break and we want to have a fun place for them to stay. Appreciate any suggestions, of places to stay and things to do.

Tuscon is a big retirement area for Rv snowbirds. Many of the RV parks are focused to serve the 55+ community of RVers. I would suggest you check the campground directories for KOA and other family focused parks for activities that would appeal to family groups. The parks should have spaces opening up in April as many snowbirds start heading home at about that time frame.
We recommend a day at the Desert Museum west of Tuscon for a fascinating day of fun and education on desert plants, animals and insects. It is a very large facility with many acres of live animals, plants, birds accessed by trails through the desert landscape.
