We can't reccomend this campground any longer

Since 2004 we've stayed at the GARLIC FARM RV PARK, Gilroy, CA an average of 4 times a year. It was very nice, Beaudry RV had a sales lot, there was a RV parts/repair shop, gas, mini-mart, truck stop, A and W, etc, and a restaurant within walking distance.

Well, it's been downhill since Beaudry RV pulled out of CA in 2005. First the RV part/repair closed. Then sometime around the beginning of this year the campground changed hands. Now the restaurant is closed.

We've stayed at the GARLIC FARM RV PARK twice this year. The new management is letting things go to heck. Call the toll free number and you get a answering machine for a storage outfit (they bought the park). ALL the staff who did such a wonderful job of maintaining the park are gone. Don't bother calling for a reservation or trying to get one online, they can't find it when you get there. The clerk at the desk, I won't go there. Grounds maintenance is ignored. You get the picture.

Too bad, this is a newer park, it opened in 2002.

That's too bad Jeff. It's sad to have experienced it good times then watch it deteriorate. So it sound like it's time to find another good campground. Like we need a reason to go camping. :D
