My wife's friend decided to get married Labor Day weekend on the Cape, for those who don't know, Cape Cod in mass is a beautiful wonderful place that takes twice as long to get to and from than the time you can enjoy it! atleast thats the story on Friday afternoons and Sunday( or Monday in this case) afternoons, so we took friday off and went out at 10 am to miss the Rush. The ride was fine, just rubber necking for speeders, But the campground............to die for! All we could think was,"this is on the cape", we know the cape as crowded, congested and touristy! This place could have been in the Appalachians somewhere, the people were unreal, the place was huge, and not a pull thru on a field to be had
.The 250 ish sites were diverse,private yet social, clean, and held all from seasonals (in their own area) to one man tents. The vision of whomever created this place was superb! The entrance rd must be a mile long off the main rd, they have a small farm, and we happened to be there for the 50th anniversary(Ice cream for all
) Sadly we were there for a wedding being held 10 miles away so we didn't get to spend as much time there as we would've liked, but we will return, heck peak season rates are $44 with wi fi and 50 amps and full hookups
All that said we wanted to miss the mass Exodus on Monday so we took the truck and trailer to the wedding on Sunday and drove the 2 hrs home after the wedding ended at 10:30 pm.
Have you ever been to a wedding where the DJ announced........"Could whoever is driving there house please move your blocking somebody in"?
