Cardinal RV Club

Heading out next week for our extended tour of Louisiana, Fl, and eventually Georgia. Wanting to visit with friends in Atlanta on the south side, and too big to fit in their driveway. Is there any place kind of near Riverside??? We are leaving that area and heading up to Stone Mountain, to visit other friends, but it is quite a hike from Stone Mt. back down to the Riverside area, if S.M. is the only NICE place to stay. HELP! I know some of you experts will help me out here. THANKS in advance! Donna

There's still space available for the SW rally. There's a bunch of us that haven't had the pleasure of hearing the story.

Man, you don't know how MUCH I would love to come to that! But with this trip beginning next week (Louisiana and Florida and all points in between) and the Chattanooga rally and then our annual trip up north in July and my class reunion here at the house in early Sept, and the Mississippi rally in Oct, our plate is pretty full (and the wallet will be empty!! LOL!).
You could always come across the mountains and see US out here! You know, there IS land east of the Rockies... Real dirt and trees and wonderful people..

Oh, come ON now, you got to admit, it is a VERY sweet story!!!!! At least I think so!!! My Mom travels with us where ever we go! It is in her memory that I share that story..

Blah, blah, blah! I'm not ignoring your original question, but normally I only camp on one side of a city so have no idea of south Atlanta. I stayed on the east side at I park I would not recommend even to you Donna.

Just was reading your post some more Donna something about a sweet story. Sheesh I guess I did not make it to the end of the story before going into a coma

Susanna says she liked your story and she wants me to tell you she now has her mothers silverware and a story to go with it. So dont feel to bad I did not listen to hers either.

OK Donna, Sharon tells me you did not understand my humor in the last post. The just of it is that I have never camped on the south side of Atlanta therefore no helpful suggestions. On the east side of Atlanta stay away from the park we visited (a former KOA) which had spilled sewage and putrid garbage bags leaking around our site. Not a place for Mrs. Monk, and never a place for me again.
