Is this it http://www.campingnorthcarolina.com/default.php ? Looks like a nice place. Perhaps you should google it and see if there are any reviews.

Yes, that's the place. It's always nice to hear from someone who has stayed @ a particula campground.

Thanks for refreshing my memory---I had that site in my "favorites" but had forgotten about it. Really good reviews---makes me feel better. They also started participating with Camp Club USA in March, which we're a member of. I asked the owner about getting the discount for CCUSA the other day when I made reservations, but she said the only discount I could get was with Good Sams. I didn't question that as most campgrounds in the mountains don't give discounts during their peak month of October. Upon further checking today, according to the Camp Club USA information we should be able to get the discount for a maximum of 2 days unless it's during Lake Rutledge's Fall Harvest Days (Oct. 9-12). We're not staying there then so I called back this morning to ask why we we were not getting the CCUSA discount for 2 of our days and am still waiting for her callback. It would save us $42.00 over the Good Sam's discount. Every dollar discounted is a dollar saved.
