Dogwood Acres is nestled at the foot of the Blue Mountains, located in South Central Pennsylvania. The campground is 20 miles off of Interstate 81 from Carlisle, PA. The roads to the campground were small paved rural roads through beautiful farm land. Within the park the roads are gravel but well kept. Dogwood Acres Campground offers 80 spacious, shaded full hook-up sites (30-50 amps), 10 tent sites, and both private primitive and deluxe cabins. Visitors enjoy such activities as fishing and swimming. Offers 9 pro disc golf course. When things are busy they have lots of activates. Check out the events calendar on there web-site.

The bath rooms were very clean and modern with lots of hot water, but the bath buildings have huge open vents making it impossible to heat. Many if not most of the sites are taken by campers using the park as vacation homes. Many have built decks and done extensive landscraping. The campground log cabin office contains a store. There’s a pool, covered picnic areas and fishing lake. The park is family owned and they live at the campground.
