According to the Trailer Life Directory, here are the top 10 RV Parks.

To earn a perfect 10/10★/10 rating, parks must excel in these three areas:
–Completeness of facilities
–Cleanliness and completeness of shower and restroom facilities
–Visual appeal and environmental quality

All three ratings are on a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being the best. Campgrounds with a 10/10★/10 rating have more facilities, are better maintained and are more visually appealing.

This year these RV resorts were awarded perfect scores:
SIGNATURE RESORTS MOTORCOACH COUNTRY CLUB (Indio, CA)

Well i agree with Seven Feathers in Canyonville, OR drove through PHEASANT RIDGE RV RESORT in Wilsonville, OR did not think it was that great and really surprises me they did not have Winchester Bay RV Resort in Winchester Bay, OR. Many from the club have stayed there and I think they will agree it is a very nice resort. or Crownvilla in Bend

Most of the time I have to agree with the camping directories (most of the time). I have stayed at some that the camping directory said was really good and wasn't and then there are those you just can't help but think Man, how did they miss this one (a real gem). When looking for a RV park I try to use as many sources as I can including this board. :thumbrt:

I vote for Shenandoah Crossing in Gordonsville Va...just 30 minutes from Charlottesville and Richmond! New Park, all full hook, tennis, golf, indoor & outdoor pools, and equestrian center...amazing & cheap!

We have stayed at two of them. One rates up there, the other one has really tight streets and turns to get in and out of the sites. Both are in Oregon. The tight one is not owned by a Indian tribe! Chris

That Bend park was pricey! Did that on our way across. To me not worth the high dollars they charge. Call me a miser, but I thought it was worth 45 or 50 dollars and not the $80 they charged and my site was narrow so had to walk around all the outbuildings/built up hook-ups to get to the back of the rig but did have a big yard toward the neighbors. Have been in a few of same caliber for half the price. But only my opinion.

LOL, I'm with you Bruce. We were going to stay there when THE RALLY was in Bend a few years ago until I checked into the rates. That's not for me.

LOL, true, true, and Yellowstone will be my all time high that I've paid for a campsite. But if I have to pay a premium price for all that good company then so be it. :thumbrt:

You can't complain about RV Camping Rates. I just paid $85 a night to stay in a Super 8 Motel in Flagstaff. $15 because we had a kitten we were bringing home for my granddaughter. There was no view like you get with a Campground, Campgrounds only charge $2 for pets and it definitely was not one of the top 100 rated in the nation.

Your are so right Don, the price does not seem to matter when you can sleep in your own bed and use your own bathroom and cook your own meals ,if you so choose. I will take RVing any time no matter what the price. :thumbrt: :D

Don, I bet that bed in the motel 6 wasn't as compfy as the one in your bird too. Last time we stayed in a motel 6 was by Disneyland and it was a Hotel-no-Tell, as Mike called it. I had no idea till he pointed out all the comings and goings. Gave me the creeps. =))

Rob,

We've stayed in the Campground in Bend too, but its been while, boy they've really gone up in price. I think they were $40 a night when we stayed there about 5 years ago. We thought that was high then. I think Jackson Rancharia should be added to the list of RV Parks in a few years when the trees grow up, so nice and clean. We also stayed at the Elk Ridge Rv Resort in by Spear Fish, South Dekota that was awesome. That one should get 10's across the board.
