Everglades National Park

Post by Traveler II »

Yesterday we drove and hiked in the Park. The wildlife is outstanding, we must have seen 50 gators and all kinds of birds. Today we were outside the park but took an airboat ride in the Glades, not as much wildlife but it was still fun. :D

We were just thinking of places to go this summer. we are stuck at home today because of the unusual snow storm. Did you guys find a good rv park that you would recommend?

We stayed at,Miami Everglades Campground. Nice people, nice pool area, but the site were a bit tight. We would stay again, my only suggestion is ask for a site not to close to the office. There sewer station is by the office and has a bit of an odor to it, and like all thing Florida a bit pricey, I think we paid $60 per night. 800 917 4923
