Does anyone know anything about RV parks in and around the Clarksville, TN area? We will be passing through there on our way to South Carolina sometime in the fall and would like to spend a few days with our daughter & family.
My daughter built a new house 2 years ago and I tried to get her to have RV hook-ups installed, but you can guess how that came out.

Thanks,
Dale

Hi Dale, there is a campground at exit one (1) and another at exit 4. Exit one go east just past the the gas station on the left, down the road about 1/2 mile, campground on the left. It is next to a scrap metal collection site, and sometimes can be noisy, but after about an hour, you don't notice anymore. Great campground if you have kids, has pool, play ground. It is a "ex" KOA. We stay there when we go to Ft Campbell, to see the kids/grandkids.Its called Clarksville RV Park and Campground. About 30 dollars a day. The other is at exit 4, west about a 1/2 mile, turn Left and it sets at the end of that road down in a valley. Seems to be a lot of homesteaders down there. Construction people, etc. Still was a quiet place to stay. We really didn't like it tho. No one at office, din't know where to park, finally just camp in the middle of campground. Hope this helps. Also campground at Ft Campbell, if you eligible. John

Stayed at Clarksville RV Park, Exit 1, last week. We called ahead about 2 hrs prior to getting there to see if they had any sites. They had 1 site remaining which they held for us. There was some kind of group in for the weekend. We've stayed there before and it was never full any of the other times but you might want to get reservations if you know the dates. The owners are very friendly, helpful people.
You do notice a bit of highway noise and there must be a drag strip close by altho it quieted by 10 PM.
