Jellystone - Fremont, IN

Post by teallen »

Putting the finishing touches on packing, heading for Jellystone in Fremont, a top kids/family campground. Taking 5 grandkids for 10 days. It will be a lot of fun, but I will be worn out by the time I get home.

Where is Fremont, we go to Culver, IN and have been trying to find a nice campground for the grandkids in that area.

There's always Santa Claus, In. They have a great water park there, plus a regular park with wooden roller coaster rides. They have their own RV camp sites. Get concrete sites, the others are a super pain to get into. (Really tight with everyone else parked in your way) Also expensive, but worth it. West of Louisville, on I 64 :ymcowboy:

Fremont is located off I 69 at the Michigan border. The campground is about 5 miles from the highway. They added a new pool since last year, so that gives them 2 out door pools, one indoor pool, older child activity pool, kids wading-water game pool, huge water slides (cost extra but for older kids -it is reasonable), organized events on weekends for kids, basketball court, volleyball courts, playgrounds for the smaller kids, huge store, camp sites are wide, unlike a lot of parks where you are pretty close to your neighbor, concrete patios which keeps the dirt down. WIFI works great, get about 6 TV channels. Check out their website for more info - http://www.jellystonesbest.com/

Hope it helps, Tom
