Stayed at Mill Creek Campground in Mackinaw City, MI. A nice park on the water, however the spaces are really tight. Not hardly enough room to unroll an awning. Would recommend it if you can get a bigger site, otherwise, practice your backing skills.

Will second that. We was there last week. It is a very nice campground with great views of Lake Huron and Macinaw Bridge. But the sites are pretty tight and will challange the backing skills.

If you go back to that area I would suggest crossing the bridge and staying at Straits State Park in St. Ignace, but only if you get reservations in the upper section because in the lower section (the one on the lake) the sites are real small and and would be tuff getting backed in. I would reserve one of the pull thru sites for the first stay and make a list of "workable sites" for any future stays. If all of the pull thrus are full most of the sites in the south half should be easy enough to get into.
