Traverse City, MI

Stayed at the Holiday Park Campground in Traverse City Mi. This is an excellent park. Large sites on a small lake that provide an excellent view. I would recommend this campground without reservation.

Yes it is a nice place, You prob. noticed it is an Airstream Home park. Did you see all the Airstreams parked in back, in storage??

Yes, most of the spaces were occupied by Airstreams or a version thereof with a season length pass and nice landscaping. A very nice park around a small lake with swans and duck abounding.

We will be in Traverse City this Friday for a few days, will check this park out.

Tom, it might pay to call for a reservation. We called a couple of days ahead just to be sure to get in but would not have had a problem.

Jon and Jolene, You must have went the other direction. We was a Traverse City the first part of last week at Holiday Park and at Mackinaw City the last part of the week. We also stayed at the Holiday Park. The reason there are so many Airstreams the park is so how connected with them. The wooded sites are great. Very nice park. I would recommend it and when we go back will probably stay. I had called about reservations and they said we didn't need them. However, I would recommend making them to get one of the wooded sites. Otherwise you get stuck out in the "plain jane" sites.

Keith, Lisa......it is a "Home Park" for Airstream..........a number of years ago,(way back when) it was almost all Airstream......That was a sight!!!!!!!!!!!

bfast54, Traverse City is a nice town. First time up there. Look forward to going back someday to see the rest of the sights we didn't have time to visit. kw

Yes, it is very nice here, did you get the chance to check out the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore?? A must visit, if you have the time . One of the National Parks.

Radar57, we did go from Mackinaw City to Traverse City on the way back to IL. We had a space at Holiday on the water. A nice large space with a nice view of the lake. The space we had was rented out for the summer, however the people that use it had left for the winter.
